Another day it is and looking forward to spending the rest of the day in front of my laptop hoping to finish all my work due tomorrow.I wanted to be free of any pressure since we'll be leaving to Laguna in the afternoon. It's my parent's 30th anniversary last August 11 and my sister and I wanted to surprise our old folks with a simple get together at their house this Sunday. So that means we'll be sleeping over at our old home together with our own families so we could have a long time to bond as one big happy family.
This has been sort of a tradition to us that every time there's an important occasion, my siblings and I have to spend the night at our parent's house before the big event. I actually love it because this is the time when we all have a happy chat about what's going on in our lives, taking the time to refresh memories of the past, and laugh together as funny stories about us are exposed to our hubbies and children. Now, I'm looking forward to that but still have a long way to go before I could finish what I'm supposed to be doing right now, hehehe.. sorry, I got carried away with this one. Okay, gotta go and finish again my work., lol.

My Angels

After two days of straight work, no tweets, no facebook, I Just want to relax, unwind, and not to put too much pressure on myself right now. So, I posted some of the pictures of my two adorable kids from their baby pix until the most recent ones. Aren't they so cute? Hehehe.. Just to see these images of my children, and see how they've grown so fast, and how they brought so much happiness in my life, I feel a lot better already.

Filipino mourns for the loss of a great leader and a mother...

Our country is now mourning for the death of our former president Cory Aquino. She passed away this morning at 3:18 am at the Makati Medical Center, after 17 months of struggle with the cancer of colon.
Everyone is paying their tribute to Tita Cory - as means of saying 'Thank You' for all the things she has done to our country, especially for regaining our democracy which until now is being enjoyed by Filipino people.
I have seen how much Filipinos loved her. The overwhelming emotions coming from people who have been inspired by her - regardless of who they are, rich or poor, famous or ordinary people, all are showing their appreciation for the late president.
Now, it's time for me to share my own thoughts and feelings about how I am grateful to this woman I consider a "Mother of the whole nation".
We adore your strength and faith to fight for what is right
And for what is good to our country...
Your sincere love and affection for the Filipino people is inimitable,
And for this, we are grateful...
Despite your own struggles in life, you still managed to be an
epitome of strength and faith...
Once again, all Filipinos are reunited as we mourn the death of The Icon of DEMOCRACY.
For us, you are our Mother – the Mother of this struggling nation. Yet, we will struggle no more,
for we have found the courage, determination and faith in you.
Thank you Tita Cory...

I am truly excited to work finally on ODESK. I thought joining the world of freelancers is just so impossible for me. Yet, after knowing some people who are now reaping the good fortunes of being a freelancer in their respective fields through ODESK, I was really enticed to join them and become one of the lucky Filipino providers.
At first, it was really a painstaking journey. I've tried to apply to so many job openings, gave impressive cover letters, yet I wasn't lucky enough to be picked. But after three months of waiting, finally, the luck is mine. Hehehehe...
Lots of invitation for interviews are pouring in. I am quite astound and excited to know there are a lot of opportunities waiting for me which can even lead to a huge change in my life. I can work at the same time look after my kids while at home. This is something that I really want.
Finally, it's here...and I'm going to grab it! and make the best out of the opportunity. =)
